瑠璃光院

我的電腦屏幕，是這張日本攝影師拍的「瑠璃光院」

於是，去了一次京都

這是我十天前在「瑠璃光院」門口拍的👇

當時只是開始淺紅，綠色為主

（其實「瑠璃光院」是觀賞紅葉的好地方！）

然後，十天後，別人去了同一個地方👇

所以，12月初還要再飛一次京都。。

In 2023 the Tingvall Trio is celebrating 20 years together as a band. What's particularly remarkable is that from the time the trio was created right up to the album being presented here, BIRDS, their ninth, the lineup has always remained the same.

Alongside Martin Tingvall on piano, who gave the trio its name, we have Omar Rodriguez Calvo on double bass and Jürgen Spiegel in his realm of drums and percussion.

These three musicians based in Hamburg, Germany have managed to write a success story over all the years that is hard to match: multiple ECHO JAZZ Awards as ensemble and Live Act of the Year, a total of six JAZZ Awards in Gold, two Impala Awards for international sales, a whole series of No. 1 Jazz Chart albums, and four times with high rankings on the German Top 100 Album Charts. In the world of German Jazz, outstanding is the word that comes to mind. With BIRDS this evolution is now reaching its tentative zenith.

As always, Martin Tingvall is responsible for all the compositions, but in terms of the arrangements and voicings the pieces were developed jointly by the trio in rehearsals and concerts until they were "ripe for recording." And naturally there are catchy tracks to be found on this album once again, for instance Woodpecker, Hummingbird or Air Guitar. Wonderful ballads like The Day After with Omar Rodriguez Calvo displaying his bowing prowess on bass alternate with tunes like Africa, whose lightness instantly threads its way into the auditory channels.

SOS, the call for help to finally provide our planet Earth with a perspective for survival, offers the Tingvall Trio Sound at its finest and a touching composition to boot.

With his solo piece entitled Call For Peace, Martin Tingvall concludes by contributing an especially introverted moment.

結成20周年を迎える現代ヨーロッパ・ジャズを代表するピアノトリオ、ティングヴァル・トリオ（Tingvall Trio）の通算9枚目のアルバムは“鳥”がテーマ。アルバムタイトルもそのまま『Birds』と題されてた本作で、リーダーでありピアニスト/作曲家のマーティン・ティングヴァル（Martin Tingvall）はアーティストに様々なインスピレーションを与えてくれる“自然界の音楽家”たる鳥たちへの敬意と愛情、同時に人間の活動によって鳥たちが棲む環境が失われていくことへの警鐘を鳴らす。

トリオのこれまでの作品同様に、すべての楽曲はマーティン・ティングヴァルによって作曲され、リハーサルやライヴを通じて練り上げられてきた。ベースとなっているコード進行はシンプルで、キャッチーで美しいテーマとスリリングな即興、グルーヴする三位一体のアンサンブルは彼らの真骨頂だ。

アルバムには様々なタイプの楽曲が収められている。
(2)「Africa」は様々な問題を抱えながらも前向きに未来を視て今を生きるような楽天的なイメージ。(3)「SOS」はタイトル通り嘆きや怒りが込められた激烈な警句の表現。
オマール・ロドリゲス・カルボ（Omar Rodriguez Calvo）によるコントラバスのアルコはバラード(4)「The Day After」では悲劇的な未来を映し出すが、(6)「Birds」では鳥たちの歌のような繊細な美しさを醸し出す（この曲はリズムやピアノの軽やかさも素敵だ）。つづく(7)「Birds of Paradise」はその楽しげなタイトルとは裏腹にアンサンブルには悲しみと激情が滲む。

ラストは平和への願いを込めてソロピアノで演奏される(12)「A Call for Peace」。
この作品は、これまでのTingvall Trioの圧倒的な作品群の中でも、そのテーマ性、洗練された作曲やアンサンブルの完成度でもキャリアの最高峰と言えるのではないだろうか。

I've Never Been to Me。。

因為老哥的隨口一句

終於認真讀了這首耳熟能詳旋律的歌詞

居然有五雷轟頂的震撼感。。

妳走遍天下

妳經歷了高低起跌人生

妳閱盡人間百態、生老病死、人來人往

然後有日突然幡然醒悟

原來我還沒有做過自己

。。。。大概這首歌就是這個意思吧

或許，以前的我，讀了也不一定懂

撫心自問，真的沒有自怨自艾

因為凡我活過的歲月，一向努力做著自己

哈～

翻唱不多，居然喜歡周慧敏的版本

（大概是唯一聽完整的周慧敏的歌😜）

這個日文的譯詞版本，也非常出色！

Music is about singing, dancing, life, and death. These are the kinds of things I learned from my teacher and mentor, the incredible Ukrainian pianist Mikhail (Misha) Alperin. Misha turned my world upside down from the moment we met. I was 19 then, and he continued to have a huge influence on me ever since. We didn't see each other very often in later years, but every time we did, I was filled with energy and inspiration. And in every meeting, he said at least one little thing that I would think about for months afterwards, whether it was during a brief conversation in the academy hallway, or a two-hour monologue in his office. He was intense. He celebrated life and love. He was singing, dancing and certainly living through his music. His death has left a void in our world that can never be filled, and he is sorely missed.

音楽は歌うこと、踊ること、生と死についてです。

これらは、私の先生でありメンターである素晴らしいウクライナの名ピアニスト、ミハイル(ミーシャ)・アルペリンから学びました。

ミーシャは出会った瞬間から私の世界を180度変えました。

当時私は19歳でしたが、それ以来、彼から大きな影響を受けてきました。

後年はあまり会うことはありませんでしたが、会うたびにエネルギーとインスピレーションをいっぱいもらいました。

彼の存在は強烈だった。

彼は人生と愛を祝いました。

彼は歌い、踊り、確かに自身の音楽を通して生きていました。

彼の死は私たちに決して埋められない空白を残し、惜しまれています。
